The 9th Annual Michigan
Epidemiology Conference was held

19th, 2010 at the Michigan State University Union
in
East Lansing, Michigan.

Epidemiology Section of the Michigan Public Health Association
was able to present this conference free of charge thanks to the

The John Snow Award
New to the MPHA Epidemiology Section, the John Snow Award
is designed to recognize the achievements of
Public Health Universities and students
throughout Michigan.
It will be awarded each year to the university with
the most student abstracts accepted
for presentation at our annual conference.
The award is granted to a representative of the winning school
and is proudly displayed there until the next year's conference.

Each year for the past several years,
the MPHA Epidemiology Section has selected
poster presenters at random to receive one year's
free membership.

our section members using criteria based on
