MPHA is seeking Board nominees for the 2026-2028 term:

Dillon L. Glenn
Student Section Chair

Dillon L. Glenn is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Wayne State University, College of Nursing, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. His research primarily focuses on social pharmacology, behavioral economics, and smoking behaviors, employing a social scientific approach with an emphasis on quantitative methodology. He is particularly interested in understanding how social contexts, identities, preferences, and perceptions influence smoking behaviors and choices of cessation interventions. As the Chair for MPHA student section, he is dedicated to promoting research collaborations and networking opportunities including conferences, workshops, and more.

Muhammadi S. Kabiito
Student Section Chair Elect

Muhammadi Sayid Kabiito is a pre-medial student at Saginaw Valley State University, double majoring in Neuroscience and Medical Laboratory Science. Originally from Kampala, Uganda, he currently resides in Michigan where he works as an inpatient phlebotomist at Covenant Healthcare and as a direct care worker at Riversbend Rehabilitation Center for Traumatic Brain Injury in Bay City.

His passion lies at the intersection of medicine, neuroscience and public health. He is committed to making healthcare more accessible, compassionate, and evidence based. As the Chair-Elect for MPHA student section, he is excited to bring fresh energy and engagement.

Ashton Stewart
Past Chair

Ashton is a Master of Public Health student at Saginaw Valley State University focusing on Public Health Education and its prevention of Chronic Diseases as well as public health leadership practices. She also works as a Nutrition Educator for K-12 students for the Genesee Intermediate School District. After the completion of her MPH, Ashton wishes to further her education by obtaining her Doctorate of Public Health (DrPH) with a focus on Health Education, Chronic Disease, and leadership.
